CORPORATE CHRISTMAS PARTY

The client had chosen the Swindon Seam Museum as their venue. This already had its own unique fixtures and essence of 1920's about it. The museum itself is home to many brilliant and educational elements such as steam trains, authentic prop installations and more. The main hall would be where this event would take place, and with a theme of 1920's and Art deco. When the client approached us we were tasked with the design and the production of the event. We were asked to come up with some ideas to match the already enthusiastic ideas the client already had in mind. The concept was to create a fully immersive event that made the guests feel like they were sitting inside an old fashion steam train cabin. We created bespoke 3D sketches and modules to show the client what could be achieved with regards to the stage and set designs and also a unique way in which we showcased live projections of staff running alongside the train. The rest of the room were able to then watch their colleagues try their best to run alongside the event/train. 

THE INITIAL IDEA

HOW WE DID IT

Once we had presented some bespoke 3D sketches and images of what we were looking to achieve it was down to the client to choose what they thought would work best. 

 

The staging was confirmed and was built around the projector and screen that the venue had already supplied. The design of the stage was based on a 1920's band stage with an art deco twist.

 

We then produced custom video content which was displayed on a green screen in the reception area. This would then be shown in real time in the main hall on one of the 6 giant windows in which we projected the window view of a moving train. Once guests had got in front of the video booth green screen they were then shown as if they were outside the train.

 

This, alongside the lighting and theming provided by the in-house crew and the catering company, made this event a fantastic occasion and memorable experience for all who attended.  

 

 

THE RESULTS

The results were brilliant and after a lot of proposals and design work both in the studio and in the workshop, we have a concept now that can be used for many different themes.
